As a child born in a village in southern China known for its natural surroundings, Stephanie Chen became fascinated with colors and textures at a young age.  In pursuit of a brighter future, her family immigrated to New York in the mid- 1980's.  Like many other new immigrants, Stephanie's parents worked in garment factories.  It was there that her curiosity for fashion was first piqued.  This curiosity was further solidified as she went on to graduate from Parsons School of Design, to continue her never-ending search for inspiration, and to define her style.

After a successful career designing for various contemporary fashion companies, Stephanie was inspired to create a premier designer brand.  With a rekindled obsession for elegant lingerie and a desire to redefine effortless and timeless chic, SAPPHIRE BLISS was born.  A luxury intimate lifestyle brand passionately designed to help women look exquisite and confident, while feeling great from the inside out.  With a signature style of sexy femininity fused with soft modern tailoring, SAPPHIRE BLISS brings luxurious comfort and effortless versatility to its collections.  SAPPHIRE BLISS' luscious creations are seductive when relaxing at home, and equally alluring when worn for cocktail parties or intimate date-nights.  As a New Yorker, Stephanie is proud that SAPPHIRE BLISS is not only Made in the USA, but Made in New York.
